Original sources, coverage limits and freshness information for every PolityIQ election desk.
Read the label before the number.
Coverage is source-dependent. A candidate list, an accessible endpoint or a rehearsal does not prove an election-night count is connected. Use the status displayed on the election desk for the current response, delay and update time.
No blanket “all results live” claim. Missing races, counts or polls remain visible gaps until a qualifying source is verified.

Freshness and attribution.
Look for three different dates: when a survey was conducted, when it was released, and when we checked it. Election counts may also have a source update time. None should be substituted for another.
Party artwork and leader portraits have source credits on their desks. Marks and images belong to their respective owners. Inclusion is for identification and does not establish endorsement or a blanket licence for reuse.
Inspect and challenge.
Polling downloads and original releases are linked on the polling desk. The dated data audit records earlier checks and unresolved issues; it is not a live health report.
If something does not match the original, send a correction with the evidence.
